Bid Bound stands out because our guidance is grounded in real recruitment experience and delivered with honesty and integrity. Founded by a former Head Rho Chi, we focus on preparation—not promises or pressure—while supporting both PNMs and parents so families can navigate recruitment with confidence and clarity.
No! Bid Bound resources can apply to any school- big or small, SEC or not. Alabama is just commonly used as an example through Bid Bound resources as it is a well known school that has one of the biggest recruitment's in the country. If you ever have school specific questions, please email us!
No. Bid Bound is not affiliated with any university, sorority, or Panhellenic Association. Bid Bound is an independent consulting and educational service that provides experience-based guidance to PNMs and parents while fully respecting the boundaries and integrity of the sorority recruitment process.
Bid Bound is designed for any high school student considering sorority recruitment! While our services are especially helpful for high school seniors preparing for the process, we welcome students of all grades. We also offer dedicated resources for parents who want to better understand sorority recruitment and learn how to support their daughter with confidence and clarity.
While we can help you get a bid, Bid Bound does not guarantee or promise bids.
Bid Bound’s role is to help PNMs feel prepared, confident, and informed by offering honest, experience-based guidance throughout the recruitment process. While preparation and confidence can positively shape a PNM’s experience, recruitment outcomes are ultimately determined by the sororities, not by any outside service.
The Bid Bound PNM Course includes seven thoughtfully designed online modules that combine PowerPoint-style presentations, videos, letters, and interactive worksheets. The modules cover Rush 101, The Summer I Prepped for Recruitment, Confident Conversations, What No One Tells you about Recruitment, Protecting your Peace, The Ultimate Guide to Voting, and What Happens After. Together, these lessons provide PNMs with the education, preparation, and perspective they need to feel confident and supported before, during, and after recruitment.
Bid Bound supports parents by providing clear, honest education about the sorority recruitment process and guidance on how to best support a PNM throughout rush week. Our parent-focused offerings include a mini online course, 60-minute one-on-one parent calls, and dual sessions designed to support both the parent and PNM together—helping families feel informed, aligned, and confident throughout the process.
Sorority recruitment has changed significantly over the past decade, especially at larger universities. Today’s process is more structured, more data-driven, and moves much faster than it did 10+ years ago, with stricter schedules, larger PNM pools, and less room for informal interaction. Social media also plays a much bigger role, adding a layer of visibility and pressure that didn’t exist in the past. Because of these changes, expectations around communication, appearance, and decision-making are different as well. Bid Bound helps parents understand how modern recruitment works and what these differences mean so they can best support their daughters.
Yes , your daughter will be assigned a recruitment counselor during rush week, and recruitment counselors play an important role in supporting PNMs during the process. For many students, however, it can take time to build trust and feel comfortable opening up to someone they’ve just met, especially during such an emotional and fast-moving week.
Bid Bound works with PNMs and parents before recruitment begins, allowing time to build a genuine relationship and establish trust ahead of rush week. This early connection helps PNMs enter recruitment feeling supported by someone who already knows them well and understands their concerns, goals, and personality.
Bid Bound’s services start at $45 and include a range of resources and support options designed to meet families where they are. Services start at $45 for short consulting calls with additional options for private 1:1 sessions, online courses, and rush week on-call support. Please see our Services page for specific pricing.
No — Bid Bound does not rank sorority chapters. We provide educational and supportive guidance about the recruitment process, but we do not rank houses, recommend specific chapters, or suggest where a PNM “should” or “won’t” receive a bid. Our focus is on helping students understand the process, build confidence, and show up as their authentic selves—because recruitment outcomes are determined by the chapters, not by any outside ranking.
Bid Bound offers an Alumni referral discount, along with occasional promotions throughout the year. Our Alumni referral program provides $15 off for both the referring Alumni and the new client, applicable to any Bid Bound service (excluding the Entry Call). To be considered a Bid Bound Alumni, a client must have purchased any Bid Bound service other than the Entry Call. Please email us if you are interested in an Alumni referral!
