A Letter from our Founder
Hi! Welcome to Bid Bound! My name is Rhama and I am the founder. Sorority recruitment is an experience like no other that will cause you to feel all of the emotions- excited, overwhelmed, and conflicted. As a former University of Alabama student, sorority member, and Head Recruitment Counselor, I’ve seen sorority recruitment from all sides- as a Potential New Member, active chapter member, and someone who has been tasked with guiding PNMs through the process. Through my experiences, what I have seen most clearly is that in order to have the best outcome during recruitment, PNMs need to feel confident, prepared, and supported. This will lead to them being Bid Bound.
As an out of state student, I was overwhelmed with the idea of recruitment. I had no idea what rush would be like, what to wear, what to say, or what life would be like after Bid Day. I felt unprepared and like I had no one to go to. With so many rumors floating around the internet, all I wanted was someone who was going to be honest, ethical, and supportive. I could have used Bid Bound.
During my time at Alabama, I saw how many students—both in-state and out-of-state—felt overwhelmed and unsure during recruitment. The process often brings big emotions and confusion, but I also saw how preparation and confidence could significantly improve a PNM’s experience. With a vault of unique and valuable recruitment knowledge, I was inspired to create Bid Bound.
I founded Bid Bound in 2026 with the goal of providing clarity and support for PNMs and families going through sorority recruitment. Through online courses, support calls, and on-call guidance during recruitment available for a variety of prices, I hope to offer honest, experienced, and accessible support that helps students show up as the best version of themselves and helps parents feel informed and at ease.
Sorority recruitment is one of the most exciting times of your life, and I hope Bid Bound can be there to support you every step of the way.

Rhama's Qualifications
During her four years at the University of Alabama, Rhama gained a depth of sorority recruitment experience that few people have. She first participated in recruitment as an out-of-state PNM, navigating the process firsthand and receiving a bid to the chapter that felt like the perfect fit for her. The following year, she recruited as an active member of her sorority, leading conversations with PNMs and representing her chapter during recruitment. This experience gave her a clear understanding of what chapters look for over the course of recruitment, how actives approach conversations, and which questions genuinely demonstrate interest and authenticity from a PNM.
Rhama then spent two years serving as a Rho Chi (recruitment counselor), where she supported hundreds of PNMs through every stage of the process. In this role, she listened to a wide range of experiences, offered guidance during emotional moments, and helped students navigate recruitment from all ends of the spectrum. During her second year as a Rho Chi, Rhama was selected as one of two Head Rho Chis for the Alabama Panhellenic Association, a leadership role in which she continued supporting her assigned PNMs while also overseeing and assisting more than 150 Rho Chis through complex recruitment situations.
This combination of firsthand experience—as a PNM, active member, Rho Chi, and Head Rho Chi—gives Rhama a uniquely comprehensive understanding of sorority recruitment. It is this depth of perspective, paired with a calm and ethical approach, that makes Bid Bound different.
